Due to an increasing list size, we are looking for an additional GP partner to join our practice team. We are a small, very friendly and well organised semi-rural practice, delivering high quality care for our patient population in and around Blairgowrie.
We would require 5 or 6 sessions to be worked over 3 days.
Blairgowrie is the largest town in Perthshire, set in the beautiful Perthshire countryside and which offers affordable housing with easy access to Perth, Dundee, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow, with schools locally and in Perth & Dundee. The Cairngorms National Park is close by and the Glenshee Ski Centre is only 25 miles away.
Our practice list has grown to just under 4000 patients and we currently have 3 partners (2 full time equivalent) all of whom have been in the surgery for over 5 years. The current partners own the purpose built property and so no mandatory buy-in required.
We are a paper light practice using Vision and Docman, with all our paper notes back scanned. Our excellent nursing staff provide all the chronic disease clinics and our excellent pharmacy team who are based in the surgery four days a week are here to help with any medication queries. We also have the services of the First Contact Physiotherapy team, District Nurses, Community Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Health Visitors, Midwife and a Health and Wellbeing Nurse. Most of our bloods and wound care are carried out at the Care and Treatment Centre based at the Cottage Hospital.
Our very friendly and experienced administration team are on hand to help with any queries and are always happy to make you tea and coffee throughout the day!
You will be entitled to 6 weeks annual and 2 weeks study leave pro rata and may be eligible for a generous Golden Hello of up to £10,000
Start Date: Negotiable start date and sessional commitment for the right applicant.
